Laundry’s done. Dishes are in the drying rack. Clothes are ironed. Supper is hot. I am spoiled!!!!! Just to confirm what I heard most of my childhood years from my sweet brothers. “You are spoiled, Michelle!” Well, I certainly have been for the past few months!
My amazing mom spent 2 1/2 months with us while I recuperated from a foot surgery and then I promptly went galavanting around the world (ok, just to Greece, but it was just as amazing as around the world!) 😉 Stay tuned for the next blog which will be filled with “opa”s and olives from my Greece trip.
But back to my momma – this was most definitely a working trip for her – as she maintained my household when I could not. And kept up with all my children’s comings and goings… not a small feat!
But we tried to slide some fun in for her too!
She zip-lined for the first time in her life! And it was not any old zipping experience! It was over a 300 meter deep canyon! Amazing, Mom!!! Numerous trips to the beach, a bit of shopping therapy, a visit to the local game reserve, including her first night safari experience… So many wonderful memories!
You are truly the best, Mom! Thank you so very much!!! Next time we will come and party on your side of the ocean!
And this little thank you comes just in time for mother’s day! Happy momma’s day! You are very appreciated!!
Dearest Michelle, I responded , but I guess I was too verbose.
Thank you for all that you are to me! Ian so glad the good Lord knew I needed a daughter. Love you to Orion and back! Mom❤️
Why? Did it limit how much you can type? I am glad God put us together too, Mom! Love you loads!
